Tag maden med
Small private groups of fewer than 10 people are very welcome to bring packed lunches, a picnic basket or food to cook themselves at Ungdomsøen.
- We have picnic tables all over Ungdomsøen.
- With a view of the sea and sky, you can cook in our two outdoor kitchens at the campsite.
- You can borrow gas grills for free.
- Larger groups can book Foodlab, with six kitchen stations and a small commercial kitchen.
Cooking over a fire
In the kiosk, you can rent fire pits and fire kits and buy firewood. We also have axes you can borrow to split the wood.
Kiosken på kajen
The kiosk is on the quay at the main entrance, where it says "1890" above the door. Here you can buy snacks, ice cream, cold drinks, coffee, soft drinks, beer and wine, as well as light meals such as cup noodles and porridge. You can also borrow lawn games and buy Ungdomsøen merchandise, created by young volunteers.
Remember: Apart from water, you are not allowed to bring your own drinks. You can buy them in the kiosk.
Rainy weather? If you planned to eat outdoors but are surprised by heavy rain and wind, ask in the kiosk. Our staff will try to find a place where you can sit sheltered from the wind and rain.
Vores ø-kok
We have a wonderful island chef. If you are holding a private party, a birthday, a bachelor or bachelorette party or an event, or if you are coming as business guests, you order your food from the island chef. You can order full catering with breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. The food is based on fresh, local seasonal produce and is vegetarian by default.
Food must be ordered no later than 14 days before your visit at booking@ungdomsoen.dk.
